The Monmouth Film Institute welcomes student interns to join our creative community here in Monmouth County, New Jersey. As part of our nonprofit mission, we are dedicated to educating and inspiring the next generation of filmmakers and artists. Interns with the Monmouth Film Institute and the Monmouth Film Festival can explore a variety of focus areas including production, programming, marketing, event management, and more.

Applicants should be:

• Enrolled in a New Jersey high school or college, pursuing or interested in pursuing a career in filmmaking, media production, or distribution. Students from surrounding areas will also be equally considered; however, Monmouth County–based students are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Flexible and willing to assist in various aspects of the festival and institute operations as needed.

• Outgoing, professional, and able to communicate effectively.

• Committed to assigned tasks and capable of completing them on time with minimal supervision.

• Excited to be part of a growing organization that celebrates the art and culture of filmmaking in New Jersey and beyond.
